Shark is the first racket in the 2024 QUAD Padel collection. It was developed by the QUAD Factory R&D department and tested for 6 months by our player António Luque, who characterised it as the best racket he has ever played with. It is a racket with an intermediate shape between teardrop and diamond, built with 3K Carbon x 4, 4 sheets of 3K carbon, which guarantees resistance, durability and lightness. Two technologies were created to incorporate Shark called Bionic Carbon Frame and Speed-Up Tech. Both developed and tested by our research laboratory. Shark is the perfect racket for a professional player looking for power, aggression and control in the game Shape: Teardrop Shape This racket has a teardrop shape, the intermediate point between two extremes: round and diamond. It is an excellent option for those looking for power without losing control. Core: Hyper Soft Foam The production process of a QUAD racket includes its foam, which is completely designed and developed from scratch at QUAD Factory. This is a high-density foam that guarantees greater power. Weight:± 360g The weight of a Padel racket has an impact on power, stability, manoeuvrability and plays a very important role in its performance. Shark weighs around 360G, and even though it is a robust racket, with some hardness and with a shape intermediate between teardrop and diamond, we achieve a medium/low weight, perfect for attacking and defending on the court. Carbon: 3k Carbon x 4 3K Carbon is a fabric with 3000 filaments per stitch, also widely used in the aerospace industry. Shark is produced with 3K Carbon x 4, 4 sheets of 3K Carbon, which allows greater manoeuvrability and extra comfort for the racket. This material guarantees superior resistance, durability and power. Technology: Bionic Carbon Frame The Bionic Carbon Frame is a technology created by the QUAD Factory R&D Department and consists of less inflation of the frame, which creates a larger sweet spot on the racket. One of the advantages of this type of construction is the integration of the frame with the racket core, thus forming a single structure. This integration provides greater stability during the game. Technology: Speed-Up Tech Speed-Up Tech is a technology developed by QUAD Factory's R&D Department, which will allow the racket to gain around 30% acceleration. The longer slots in the specific area close to the frame, where there are normally no holes, allow greater air passage, which results in less friction, more rotation and greater acceleration of movement. This technology has been tested over several months in our laboratory and on the court by our players.
